Virginia Beach Beachfest 2008: August 1-3 (Fri-Sun) VIRGINIA BEACH SINGLES' Weekend by Chapter 216, Virginia Beach. A "fun" weekend with 2 BIG OPEN DANCES. Carribean Buffet Dinner Friday, Saturday mid-day cookout and beach party, formal dinner and dressy Dance Saturday evening, Sunday buffet breakfast, a Cookout and Discussion Sunday afternoon. Total cost for package is $85, which includes housing in a member's house for the weekend. Bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, towels and toiletries. This is the Chapter's major fundraiser for the year to support their children's programs and providing college scholarships for member children.
